Meaning: The quality of having experience, knowledge and good judgement; the quality of being wise; the fact of being based on sensible or wise thinking; the body of knowledge and experience that develops within a specified society or period.
From the above definition, 3 words are related; Experience, Knowledge and Judgement. They serve has the components of wisdom but cannot be put in place of it.
"Knowledge" means how much factual information and skills a person knows.
"Experience" is the process of getting knowledge or skill that is obtained from doing, seeing or feeling things, or something that happens which has an effect on you.
"Judgement" refers to the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions.
Principally, "Wisdom" refers to the ability to apply that knowledge in the most skillful way to make the best decisions for both yourself and others. It cannot be taught but acquired with constant learning, relationship with people, making informed decisions, making mistakes and skills development for a period of time.
Why we need Wisdom more than Ever;
To move beyond knowledge and information; thinking out of the box and applying logic to reasoning.
To seek humility and embrace wonder; No matter how smart you are, and how many experiences you've had, you'll encounter times when the line between right and wrong seems fuzzy and you aren't sure what choice to make.
