NEGLIGENCE

Meaning: Failure to give enough care or attention to someone or something that you are responsible for.

Reminiscing on these words previously penned down; Enthusiasm, Procrastination and Prudence, it is certain that this word "negligence" revolves around not considering positive effect of the aforementioned words.

Negligence is just an instance of carelessly ignoring something or slackness to execute a certain task in like circumstances. As a prudent person would carefully deliberate before executing its judgement, it would rather be treated with levity while not considering the consequence of such action.

This act of negligence can be destructive in all circumstance. There is no way you put your heart into doing something or being careful to ensure a task is done with your best knowledge that it won't yield a positive result or success. If you are in the act of turning things down due to lack of seriousness, you might end up not doing anything significant in your lifetime.

Let's take for instance, children that are not getting proper care from their parents just because they are not always available to nurture or spend quality time. They end up being resentful towards people. This often happens when a child has no experience of love and care from those ought to have expressed it. Another example, when an employee is being given an assignment. If not interested, he might ignore the necessary details while not taking note of the instructions contained for its execution. He eventually does the task as pleased and ends up causing a grave mistake to the organization.

The consequences attached to negligence could be irreversible. This is why we need to be more careful and enthusiastic to act immediately and appropriately.
